Peach granita

peach granita

Try our refreshing slushie recipe.

Like fruit juice, this slushy is not a fruit. It is a glycaemic preparation, so it should be consumed in moderation.
However, it is a great way to treat yourself and a good substitute for ice cream or sweets.

So enjoy!

Ingredient  (4 serves)

400-500 g yellow peaches

Preparation time: 15 minutes – Freezing time: 4 heures

1. Wash, core and roughly chop the yellow peaches.

2. Place in a blender and reduce to a purée.

3. Strain through a fine sieve to remove any bits of skin and pour the mixture into a shallow dish.

4. Put the dish in the freezer and leave to set for 4 hours, stirring from time to time with a whisk or fork so that the mixed fruit hardens and forms small crystals.

Like fruit juice, this granita is not a fruit. It is a glycaemic preparation and should therefore be consumed in moderation. However, it’s a great way to indulge yourself and a great substitute for ice cream or sweets. So enjoy!
